Back in 2017, Anthony Bourdain gave newly graduated Taylor Viriña some much appreciated career advice. A few weeks later, Taylor joined the culinary team at Howard Hughes.

Executive Corporate Chef Taylor Viriña has produced a number of campaigns in the past 8 years bringing him to the coastal markets of the East and Gulf Coasts.
As Exec Chef for The Newes From America (5th Oldest Restaurant in the US), he’s familiar with working with legacy brands having also worked with Howard Hughes and now William Barry Owen for the Ocean Club at Martha’s Vineyard.
Before the renovation leading to the opening of Faraway Hotel, the property of the Kelley House (3rd Oldest Hotel in the US).
Prior to working with Boston-based Lyons Group, he held Executive Chef positions at Hilton and Hyatt hotels. He also designed and developed the hotels’ first robotic rollouts in the US.
Taylor took the helm managing The Newes From America and Pelican Club as Executive Corporate Chef for Boston’s Blue Flag Capital.
He then joined the Lyons Group as Executive Chef and opened El Barco — claiming this year’s Best New Restaurant in Martha’s Vineyard .
